We don't have a client list because we don't have clients. Our clients have us. Soundtronics Wireless ® is responsible for wireless mics working without fail for over 1.5 million viewers. The clients that have us are from large to small and we are happy to serve them no matter what their size.



History

1950 Underwater sound system was developed for Esther Williams to keep movements in time with music.
1961 First wireless microphone used in a film “Mutiny On The Bounty” with Marlin Brando.
1964 Sound-Tronics, founded by Larry Jost, rented wireless he developed to the film industry including the following:
“How The West Was Won”
“The Unsinkable Molly Brown”
“Chinatown”
“General Hospital”
1977 Vega introduced the Diversity Wireless Microphone System after many years of encouragement by Larry Jost. This was the first dependable wireless mic.
1991 David Bellamy purchased the company and changed the name to Soundtronics Wireless ®.
1992 In keeping with the tradition of Larry Jost, Dave developed the Above the Line System that allowed Disc Jockeys to broadcast a radio program inside of a theme park ride. This system includes custom made Vests to hold the IFB and Transmitter and improve transmission range.
1996 Development of the Utility Belt Pack. This invention eliminated using two 9volt batteries in a Q belt pack by replacing them with rechargeable Ni-cad batteries. This lead to a huge reduction in battery costs and repairs do to reduced damage from dropping. It also doubles the time it can be used before changing batteries.
1997 Las Vegas office Grand Opening.
1998 Custom made Wireless Speakers for the cars in the Hollywood Christmas Parade. It allowed the people in the cars to be able to hear the announcers without damaging their expensive custom cars.
1997 Introduced the FAB 4. We married a HME PL Base Station with an RTS-803 Master Station. The RTS-803 can be remotely operated from belt packs.
1998 Diversity PL System. The first true diversity PL Base Station Receiver.
2001 An 8 drop HME PL System was developed. Soundtronics ® has successfully used up to a 21 drop HME PL System!
